I don't love this, but I love her --- and she always manages to keep things classy, even when they're revealing. I'll allow it.
This is LOVELY and also REALLY BORING compared to half the other people -- and to the amazing gold Prada gown she wore last year. I LOVE the safety pin at the neckline, but basically I wish she had worn this to a Gatsby screening instead.
Okay. So this is kind of great. In a kind of medieval princess way -- why did so many people drift in Goth Princess? -- but still: good on you, Taylor.
Well. She went there.
The dress feels pretty half-assed.
But the eye-makeup is totally full-assed, and as weird as it is, I love it.
I also love this. I am beginning to think SHE might be kind of an awkward weirdo (based largely on her behavior at the MTV Movie Awards), but she has good taste. (Or, at least, a good stylist.)
This is fine -- is it leather? That is very cool, if yes --- but I am kind of bored of her. This article is old, but I just read it via Lainey, and it kind of explains why she (and Bosworth) is everywhere without actually doing any acting anymore. In a sense, I admire her for making a very good living by doing other stuff. For a woman who isn't a great actress, it's really smart. But I think you have to be careful not to devolve yourself into someone who is Famous For Being Famous, because that burns out quickly.
I don't LOVE this, but I get it. I like it better from the back, I think. BEHOLD NEXT SLIDE:
Groovy?
From the eyeballs down, this could seriously be the Golden Globes. Be more interesting.
I primarily applaud her expression of rage.
Sofia announced she just decided to wear pajamas (literally, she said that); Marc, I can not believe didn't wear one of his dresses, although props for the Converse. On the other hand, I really wish I could do Sofia's hair on my head. I think her whole American Living In France headsuit is so enviable.
This is intense! I admire that.
BORING. COME ON, KYLIE.
Her purple hair has been waiting its whole life for this moment. (Actually, despite being scared that the slit on this is a bit too crotchtacular, I think Kelly looks pretty great.)
Something about this feels SO 2008.
Lovely, for an entirely different party. Wait until the Met salutes Jane Austen (which would actually be amazing).
As we discussed on Twitter the night of the Gala, we all hope she was in charge of the tablescapes.
