I have no idea what's happening on her head -- is that a headband? -- but from the neck down, this dress is ostensibly pretty, right? I have my doubts about the styling, though.

I think that a Chinese-inspired pattern on a beautiful dress was probably also a smart way for a woman who was perhaps apprehensive about the theme to play along.
