BECAUSE ANNA IS A HUMAN PERSON. It is no surprise, but he looks perfect here. If I had a locker, I would paste this picture inside it. ## Rami Malek ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527393166.jpg) And is is predictably stylish, in a great color. Elegant, but not boring. ## Alexander Skarsgard ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527558632.jpg) Ben Stiller Presents....ALEXANDER SKARSGARD! ## Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_CHP_MET_CostumeGala_050216_52042371.jpg) Ben looks so wistful here. Thinking about that time he got to introduce us to Alex Skarsgard, obviously. ## Nick Jonas ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527558452.jpg) That pin on his lapel is gorgeous. ## Wiz Khalifa ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527337974.jpg) For one incredible moment, I thought Wiz was wearing a cape. SADLY, he's just standing in front of a woman in a white sequined gown. Next time, Wiz. Promise me. ## will.i.am ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527570990.jpg) Ugh, I was going to wear this tomorrow. ## Bobby Cannavale and Rose Byrne ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527561252.jpg) Both of these people look totally nice, and also slightly as if they have a small, loud baby at home, which they do. ## Garrett Hedlund ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527560792.jpg) I don't know who this dude is with Country Strong -- Getty didn't ID him -- but they both look nice. I'm sure Garrett and Kirsten Dunst's break-up was amicable or whatever but TEAM KIKI. ## Nas ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527559282.jpg) I love the men who went Proper Gala for this. There as also a lot of good Man Jewelry at this event, which I wholeheartedly support. ## Claudine Farrell, Colin Farrell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527558722.jpg) Claudine is Colin's sister, FYI. I love him for wearing that proper, old-school vest. ## Michael Strahan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527558572.jpg) "Don't ask me about work!" ## Tyga ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527516732.jpg) Tyga looks pretty cool in this -- I'm just going to say it. ## Zachary Quinto ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527516588.jpg) ZQ going for a pop of interest with the shoes. ## Bradley Cooper and David O.Russell ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527516166.jpg) Oh my god, what if BOTH Bradley Cooper AND Jennifer Lawrence are In Thrall to David O. Russell??? ## Alex Sharp ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527483050.jpg) He won the Tony last year for Best Actor for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time last year, and today I give him the award for Best Use of Blue Velvet. ## Jonathan Groff ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527449238.jpg) Speaking of the Tonys, congrats on your nomination, your majesty. ## Andrew Rannells ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527560080.jpg) It felt right to put the King Georges right next to each other. (PS: I LOVE YOU RANNELLS.) ## Michael B Jordan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527424998.jpg) We saw him once already -- with Lupita -- and I continue to have my doubts about this ensemble. I have NO DOUBTS about his hotness, however. ## Ansel Elgort ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527424160.jpg) He looks fine, yes? I do think BOTH Amandla and Kerry behind him are stealing focus though. They both look DELIGHTED. ## Future ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527409928.jpg) The appearance of Future -- to whom Ciara was once engaged, and with whom she has a child -- reminded me that this is totally one of those celeb-heavy events where EVERYONE is about to run into an ex. ## Trevor Noah ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527409692.jpg) Technical man-wear question: Should we be able to see shirt between pants and vest? I feel like this doesn't quite fit perfectly? ## La La and Carmelo Anthony ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_CHP_MET_CostumeGala_050216_52042170.jpg) Melo looks nice, as usual. I want La La to stand normally because I think her boobs are mad at her right now and it might sooth them. ## Orlando Bloom ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527394234.jpg) His lapel pin? A Tamagotchi. ([Katy Perry had one too, so it's clearly true love](https://www.mtv.com/news/2876316/with-katy-perrys-permission-orlando-bloom-tends-to-his-tamagotchi-at-the-met-gala/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io).) ## Robert Pattinson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527393838.jpg) "Can I get anyone a refill of their G&T?" ## Lewis Hamilton ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_CHP_MET_CostumeGala_050216_52042949.jpg) !!!!!!!! ## Jared Leto ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_CHP_MET_CostumeGala_050216_52042959.jpg) OF COURSE Jared Leto brought a jaunty walking stick. ## Jared Leto ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_CHP_MET_CostumeGala_050216_52043025.jpg) NEVER CHANGE, LETO. ## Common ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/FFN_MET_Gala_GG_050216_52042701.jpg) *Sigh*. ## Mindy Kaling and Common ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527466098.jpg) I AM SHIPPING THESE TWO. This shot could be from their wedding -- and Mindy looks lovely in white. MAKE THIS HAPPEN, KALING. ## Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527344480.jpg) So handsome. Every time I see him, I think of the time I saw him at Fashion Week, and my brain shorted out on his name AND on the words "Jaime Lannister" and I wrote, "SUPER HOT GAME OF THRONES" in my notebook. (Heather talked to him and he was lovely.) ## Diplo ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527344600.jpg) I had NO IDEA what Diplo looked like until this very moment. ## Hamish Bowles ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527561928.jpg) I LOVE Hamish Bowles, Vogue's European editor-at-large. (a) He never fails to bring it at this event, and no more so than here, and (b) he once had the most wonderful mustache that made him look like he fell out of a Merchant Ivory movie, and every time I saw him at Fashion Week, for one moment I would feel like Lucy Honeychurch. He also once wrote a story about glamping that was 2000 words of delight and I've never forgotten it. ## Odel Beckham, Jr ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527561916.jpg) Fulfilling Anna's need to have at least one handsome football player in the house. I kind of wish this tux were not so shiny? ## Tom Hiddleston ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/05/GettyImages-527560984.jpg) Big finish! Speaking of people who look like they may have fall out of a period piece.
