I've accepted that I kind of don't get the theme for this event and I'm just embracing her for having the stones to wear a face mask. WHEN ELSE can one don a lacy mask if not at the Met Gala? Or, I suppose, unless you find yourself living in Outlander.

The front of her frock is a snooze, and it had to be, because look at this. It takes a lot of woman to pair a GIANT GIANT butt bow with a lacy face mask -- I keep wanting to type "a Lacey face mask," and Lacey would probably not wear this.

## Lorde, Miles Teller, Zoe Kravitz

This photo makes me laugh. Zoe looks like she has a bone to pick with Lorde, and Miles Teller seems to be attempting to magick himself away.

Wise to remove the mask before the after-party, which was probably drunk and dark and, ergo, ripe for opportunities to, say, fall over an ottoman. Gotta keep your eyeline unobscured.
