This is objectively a bold move. I think she pulls it off -- Lupita has LONG loved a sternum-baring look, and this takes that to the next step. All kidding aside (although she does really love a sternum), this is artistic and clever and while I'm not sure that I'd say I like it, exactly, it's not really meant to be LIKED. I find it effective and I do think she looks cool.

Alex Newell

It is so apt that Alex Newell won a Tony while dressed as a glamorous award! They look fantastic. They are also the second person from Glee to win a Tony and neither of those people are Lea Michele -- who, I must note, Alex kind of zipped past on the way up the stage. (Alex does not seem to be a fan of Lea.)

This Prada looks like it fits better in this shot than it did in other shots -- same as it ever was, for Prada, right? The VIBE here is really good though. (And she was a great host, as we discussed in Drinks With Broads today.)

This is MOSTLY black column dress, but a LITTLE BIT the very fancy foil swan you get for your leftovers at a posh-corny seafood place.

Anna Wintour

Anna loves those shoes, but I do NOT think they work here. However, from the ankles up....this is killer.

Utkarsh Ambudkar

This entire look is very fun, and he's not the only man at this event with a whimsical bag. More whimsical bags for men!

Michelle Williams and Thomas Kail

Thomas Kail looks like himself; Michelle ALSO looks like herself, but a bit more spangled than usual. This is good!

Tatiana Maslany

Tatiana Maslany, on the other hand, looks like she is going to prom in 1986 and not in an ironic way. In a literal way, like she feel through a hole in space and time kind of way -- and her big 80s hair got a bit deflated by the journey. She looks COOL for 1986 but dated in 2023.

Ruthie Ann Miles

I love her so much. She can wear whatever she wants. Here, though, I appreciate that this is giving Slight Ursula The Sea Witch.
