It also sort of made me chuckle that she did not wear Gucci when she was nominated for *House of Gucci*, although she wore a LOT of Versace on the press tour and does tend to opt for a Donatella-y feel sometimes.\* This dress reminds me of a very expensive envelope. (Apt for an awards show!) \*HOWEVER apparently I got bad intel and this is Armani. WELL. Who doesn't want to fling that around with abandon? (It also pains me to note that, as much as I like Laverne as an actor, I don't think red carpet interviewing is really her forte. It is not an easy gig; I would be AWFUL at it. Yvette Nicole Brown did a great job, but Laverne felt a little underprepared; she made errors, and you could really tell when she didn't have any way to connect to the person she was interviewing.
