Jason Bard Yarmosky and Katie Holmes

She does look VERY happy with him and he is definitely quite handsome. (He's a legit contemporary artist.)

Susan Lucci

This is exactly how I imagine Susan Lucci doing ANYTHING: Going to the opera, walking the dog, getting the mail.

Ariana DeBose

I don't always like Ariana wears. But I always like how ARIANA always seem to like what she's wearing. She will SELL IT, whatever it is.

Maggie Gyllenhaal

She looks absolutely reasonable and totally cute and also like she had NO IDEA they were gonna have her go through the press line.

Famke Janssen

Meanwhile, Famke was READY for this press line. Very Jessica Rabbit -- though she could use a bit of a hoik.

Dana Delany

I suspect this looked better in person.

Gina Gershon

A round of vigorous applause for someone who recognizes that the opening night of the opera -- Macbeth, no less!!! -- requires a very dramatic touch.

Sigourney Weaver

More feathers! Just slightly more SECRET feathers.

Patricia Clarkson

Immaculate!

Frances McDormand and Joel Coen

These two look annoyed by the photo -- I feel like Frances McD is always annoyed? -- but you can't deny that it turned out GREAT.

Katie Holmes Brought Her New Boyfriend to the Opening of the Metropolitan Opera

And Susan Lucci brought herself!
