You can see her dress has less of a fluttery top, a train, and seems cut not QUITE as low on the hips. You also can't see any underboob, whereas Olivia's was cutting that pretty fine. I veer back and forth on which one I personally like more, but they're both neat. Margaret looks COOLER overall, maybe, but I think that's just the blue hair vibe.

Cardi B in Miss Sohee

As best I can tell, Cardi wore this to walk out of the hotel. And that's it. She was among the last on the red carpet in her other outfit, and now I get why -- she had to dismantle a whole custom Miss Sohee outfit so she could put on a different complicated dress. But what a sad waste of THIS one. Honestly, at that point, I'd just have walked the damn carpet twice to milk this for all its juice. Her explanation for this: pink makes her think of Chanel. (She did not explain why the chest doesn't fit.) The fourth photo in her IG carousel is from behind, and it's really cool.

Cardi B in Richard Quinn

I didn't see anyone else in Richard Quinn, so it's nice that he found a way into the party. Cardi changed into THIS after the red carpet, so that she could sit down at dinner. And this is is SUCH a clear interpretation of Chanel that I thought for a second it WAS.

Barry Keoghan in Burberry

Barry was on our list, but when you're downloading a bajillion photos at once, you don't always notice if one doesn't go through. And he didn't. Sorry, Barry! His Burberry is nice, but man, Burberry was really pushing a blue agenda over everything.

Sora Choi

This is another of the dresses that was in the May Vogue issue -- here, it's Thom Browne interpreting Karl, and I loved it then. It's still a good interpretation, obviously; nothing has changed. But boy, context is key. It's almost mean to photograph that dress on the stairs of the Grand Palais, even with it under construction, and then plonk it at the Met on that stupid carpet with the idiot bottles in the background. Sora Choi is doing what she can, but Shalom Harlow and that setting? That's a tough act to follow.

So, the first post I wrote last night was the Big Statements one, and we had Tommy Hilfiger in there as the main Karl impersonator. GOOD LORD, was that premature. I didn't realize until we got into the black outfits post HOW MANY PEOPLE did Karl cosplay, and here is another one. I really didn't think that many people would be this lazy? No offense to Jackson, as I'm sure he has a styling team that could have seen this coming.

Uproxx claims that Harlow told the press he was on shrooms, to avoid interviews. Dude, that's only going to make them want to talk to you MORE. As outfits go... Karl by way of Tommy makes sense here.

James McAvoy and Lisa Liberati

Apologies to him, but I kept running across his picture and thinking he was Derek Blasberg, even though I know Derek was clean-shaven. I guess after that pre-show, I was just hallucinating. Maybe I was the one on shrooms.

Emma changed into this for her gig interviewing people for Vogue's livestream, somewhere up near the top off the stairs. Because of the tight camera angle, we got a really close look at all those frayed edges. Her blue outfit had them, also, but at least that one was a reference to when Karl did the no-midriff midriff silhouettes. This one is just... a shitty black version of the shitty but slightly more thoughtful blue version.

Song Hye-kyo in Fendi

We just saw this on Zoe Saldana at the Oscars (hers looked lighter), and I did not need to see it again. It also seems really lazy on Fendi's part to push out stuff they've already HAD on somebody this year.
