Filipino designer Michael Cinco might be most famous for [this resplendent confection on Aishwarya Rai](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/cannes-2018-aishwarya-rai-and-other-big-gowns/girls-of-the-sun-premiere-71st-cannes-film-festival-france-12-may-2018-4?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), which for me is one of the best dresses... ever? By his standards, [this beautiful pink gown on Victoria Justice](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/the-best-of-the-rest-of-the-art-of-elysium-gala/the-art-of-elysium-heaven-arrivals-los-angeles-usa-06-jan-2018-12?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) is sedate. His latest collection is not all easy glamor; there's some edge here. But there's also nifty art deco work and plenty of metallics and a hefty dose of drama. The concept was rooted in ancient Egypt, which, if you didn't get it anywhere else, you will be walloped with when you get to the last slide. It's not subtle. It's maybe more fetishization than inspiration, at that point? But damn, the workmanship... it's striking.
