For the modest bride.

I actually love the drama inherent in this cape/sleeves situation but...this gonna need some tweaks for someone to wear it on the red carpet. Right? RIGHT???

All this being said, if someone decides to remake the "November Rain" video, Michael Costello has options for them!

This says, "I want to be totally naked, but I ALSO need some fabric to swish around dramatically when I make a dramatic exit."

I actually think this is really pretty except for...you know.

These really do seem to be aimed at Pop Star Who Needs to Get Some Press at the Next Available Red Carpet Event.

I will note that eight-year-old me would have been DELIGHTED by these sleeves.

And Anne Shirley would have been delighted by THESE sleeves.

Michael Costello has dressed Beyonce in the past, in something sort of similar to this, and I CAN see Bey deciding -- once she's had her babies, of course -- that she's really into SLEEVES right now.

After all of that, I sort of love this. Maybe that was the plot?

Is her cape...coming from her armpits? Is that the new version of "the call is coming from inside the house"?

The drama inherent in this is fun. Michael Costello IS here for you when you need a gown that's designed for dramatically exiting.

This works, but I think a lot of that is thanks to the model.

Oh, hey, I'm wearing this now! (FWIW, fringe really IS everywhere.)

I am confident this will turn up on a celebrity at some point. Perhaps at the VMAs? I kind of wish Taylor Swift would just flip the script and go for this.

This has been done before, and better, by other people.

Ah, yes. Another entry in the One Of My Arms Is Often Very Cold file.

This is derivative of a lot of other designers, including Stella McCartney, but it's the best of his derivations and I think this will be worn.

This is a nip-slip just waiting to happen. (Having said that: I really like the hair and makeup they chose for this show. Everyone's head looks fab.)

And, another point in Costello's favor: He is NEVER dreary.

Honestly, I would love it if someone wore this to an event. It's insane, but we'd all have fun with it.

File this one under "my coven has decided to throw a theme party."

This just looks like scraps pinned together.

Believe it or not, this one is kind of appealing in a Last Act of Chicago kind of way.

This is fun.

In fact, the last third of this show was -- to my mind -- for sure the most wearable and the strongest.

This needs some tailoring, but could totally work.

And I kind of love this.

This is fun, but more than anything, I need to know what lipstick this is.

Yet more opportunities for you to sweep into and out of rooms dramatically.

A dramatic option in this post-sleeve world.

Totally wearable. Someone take him up on this one!
