Not to question the work of our masters, but: They were actually with a piano, in the actual desert, and yet something about the lighting and the setup looks like Photoshop. It looks fake and it isn't. WHY. (I also don't love this -- it looks like Michelle is feeling glee and heatstroke all at once.)

That's nicer of her, but awkward of Paul.

And this one is... slightly blurry?!?

This is pretty, and Michelle should next become a classical musician whose quest is to play the piano in every kind of climate and topography.

HERE COMES HAT. That is ten pounds of crazy and I LOVE IT. Also, she looks GREAT in it? And happy? I hope she kept it. Hat needs its own movie. I want a bright future for Hat.

Here, we get a little playfulness with the old TV, first from this perspective...

... and then a new one.

'Tis a Fabelmans Family Picnic!

And a Fabelmans Family Truckster!

Which apparently they pretended had run out of gas. Aw, but I'm not made of stone, it's cute.

These are the pictures referenced at the end of the piece.

It's nice! Everything is nice.

Um, I'm sorry, no, don't you waste those BEAUTIFUL SALTY SNACKS, what are you DOING. (I hope he picked them up. Don't food-litter in the desert!)

And now, the Cult of Hat is in full force.

Michelle Williams, I think, may never have loved a thing more than this hat. She is born for this hat and it was born for her, and the two of them will be cosmically entangled until the end of their days.

Every one of those kids, and Michelle herself, should frame this.
