Okay, so it's not *necessarily* a world-rocking departure from her current norms. As we learned [in Jessica's excellent flashback post](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-michelle-williams-cannes-retrospective-05-2022/), Michelle Williams wore plenty of Chanel at Cannes when she was first hitting it big, besides which, picking Chanel for the biggest festival in its native land is about as adventurous as changing the temperature of your steak order. But since becoming a Louis Vuitton ambassador in 2013, Michelle has been one of its most loyal faces; I'm not sure she's deviated even once until right now. Does this mean the love affair is at an end? Is she merely shopping around because she's pregnant and she needed more options? Did the airline lose her luggage? Even so, you'd think Louis Vuitton -- also a France-based line -- would be at her beck and call. What do you think? Is there a plot, and if so, is it thickening?!?
