This is from the most recent couture show, but without what I think is a jacket of sorts, and was in fact pretty much already cut with generous room for gestation. So maybe she did just want something that wasn't specially made and which was on hand. It's pretty on her. This whole look is exactly what we usually expect: Simple jewels, simple makeup, let the dress do the talking.

Props to her for also finding one that allowed her to wear flats (rather than the usual literal balancing act of sticking giant platforms on to try and negate the need for tailoring). Maybe Chanel tailored it for her.

I don't have a credit here, but it would make sense if this also were Chanel. The twee little neck bow and the buttons down the back (I couldn't get a clear photo but they're there) feel like Chanel touches...

... as does this pair of flats. Also, SURPRISE, it's pants, etc. But the zipper there... doesn't that look like she's got the pants on backward? Usually that kind of zip is not in the front. Between that and the absence of LV... Like Ariel's cavern before it, how many mysteries can one blog post hold?!?
