[*Vogue* assures me that this show was extremely Marc Jacobs](https://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/fall-2020-ready-to-wear/marc-jacobs?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). I will trust that, because I am far from a student of Marc's work. There is a certain welcome simplicity to some of them -- in the past we've seen some Marc Jacobs shows that are insane pile-ups of clothing items -- but there are also a few where it feels like he's mimicking the effect of [those stretchy Balenciaga bootaloons](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/the-great-balenciana-bootaloon-off-of-2017-05-2017/), which... I really hope we left those in the past.
