Taraji P Henson
'Minions: The Rise of Gru' film premiere, Arrivals, Hollywood, Los Angeles, USA - 25 Jun 2022
This outfit cracks me up. As you may have gleaned if you came here earlier today, Taraji is in town to host the BET Awards, and this feels like an outfit that didn't make the cut for that but which she was desperate to wear. Because it does NOT scream "daytime kids' movie premiere," and yet it's totally the kind of thing that any kid in attendance will see and think, "OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A GROWN UP."

They really embraced the color scheme. Also, he only has two daughters and I had to look up which one here is his significant other, and I BELIEVE it is the brunette? It... was hard to figure it out.

Michelle ALSO embraced the minion hue, but in a way that's delightful in a catalog-shopping kind of way. Like, you'd get this in the mail and stop on this page and think, "I can pull that off... right?"

I am typing this post in a house without AC on an 85-degree day, so you can imagine that it's hard for me to judge this outfit on a real scale and not an I'M SWEATING MY FACE OFF scale.

Same. Also, I was REALLY hoping this would turn out to be Sofia Carson behind those shades, because that would be the most hilarious departure for her. There's still time, Sofia.

LA Premiere of "Minions: The Rise of Gru", Los Angeles, United States - 25 Jun 2022
One of the many reasons to enjoy Danny Trejo is that he does a LOT of work with the Muppets and seems to embrace their sense of humor. So it tracks that he'd be in a Minions movie.

Well, Tori, this outfit is actually completely cute and cheery and good, which feels like a happy surprise.
