I think this is my favorite of today's batch. But...

... I can't figure out why they didn't just paint the WHOLE skirt. And yet, when you see it this way, you realize how much more the top jumps out when the skirt is just black. The other way isn't BAD, but this is the kind of simplicity that maybe Blake could do a BIT more often when she's diving this deeply into a theme?

Instead of going simpler, she... wore... possibly the same basic thing except in culottes?!? Also, I believe this photo was taken in the morning in NYC; feels a TAD early for Shirtless With Open Jacket. I get "I love them both" but I think you can pick one. Truly.

In the "be careful what you wish for" files, this IS simpler, and is... not my favorite. I CANNOT with those pants -- they are cheesy and unflattering; possibly too big? -- and the dopey bonus Versace waistband. None of this feels contemporary to me at all.

Sure! I cannot muster up a thought about this other than, "Okay."

However, SOMEONE in her orbit has spent a LOT of time sourcing flower purses, so congrats to them on hopefully being done with that for a while. (See also: yesterday for sure, and this one that goes with another underwhelming outfit anchored by bad pants.)
