Cate in Louis Vuitton

This is a re-wear, but not of a red-carpet gown; it's a custom dress made for a Vanity Fair shoot from this past Cannes. That's the second time she's busted out something she first debuted as recently as May. She might've had the hair correct the first time, and I'm not sure the makeup sings with it either, but the gown is neat.

Both my opinions-- on the hair, and on the dress -- hold up from the rearview, methinks. Also, IS this black velvet? That's been everywhere in Venice.

Cate wore this top with a matching skirt in 2022 at the Goya Awards, and I actually think it looks better with these pants because it stands out more.

It kind of feels like they're riding the same hair and makeup through all these events, which were on three consecutive days. The boob ruffle is pretty but I'm not sure it needed it? I feel like they made it so they could take that fabric later and turn it into something else.

The sunglasses, though, are a hit.
