Rachel Brosnahan in Elie Saab

The thing is, I'm not sure I'd like this that much even if I COULD see all the details, a theory that the runway version is bearing out for me. The top reads as messy, the pants are a bit blah, and I personally would've gone for a pedicure with that much of my (chilly?) feet showing. For as much as we liked her Oscar de la Renta the other day, and some of the stuff she's worn recently, this to me is a total yawn.

That is quite splendid, though. She and Sela Ward both look as fantastic as ever; who's up for a Once & Again reboot? Billy Campbell seems like he's probably available, and Evan Rachel Wood surely isn't spending THAT much time shooting Westworld.

Ooooh, I LIKE this. Well played, madam.

Bailey De Young

Naturally, a Bunhead has a supporting role in this. That looks like a very shiny bathrobe, and the shoes are a bit boring. Does it also need a necklace? Having said all that, her head looks super. She could play Megan Hilty's sister in something. A SMASH REBOOT PERHAPS? (Just kidding.)(Except actually not. That show was entertainingly terrible.)

Colbie Minifie

Colbie is in this show, but I had to look her up to realize that what I'm recognizing her from is season one of Jessica Jones. She and Bailey either both borrowed their shoes from the wardrobe people (I always imagine them having five sizes of the same shoe around), or use the same stylist, or shopped the same Saks floor. But I really like her stripey separates. They're very springy for this time of year, but they also really light up this slideshow.

He looks GREAT. There was a shot of him showing off the purple lining on his suit, in a way that makes me wonder if a lot of these older actors who've been around awhile are getting a kick out of the trend of snazzy suits.

These adorable twin noodles play Brosnahan's son, and is there anything cuter than a small boy dressed like an adult? No.

The gang plus Amy Sherman Palladino and Caroline Aaron

ASP got out a very kicky top hat for this occasion. What's happening to her necklace is a tale as old as time: The long ones always seem to find a boob and hook to it. I wish I could tell better what Caroline Aaron's outfit looks like, but the skirt seems neat and she's got bombshell curls in her hair. APPROVED.

Behold, More of the Maisels
Do they look marvelous?
