# More or Less Well Played, Lupita Nyong'o in Dior

I first saw this dress [on Micaela Erlanger's Instagram](https://instagram.com/micaelaerlanger/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and [it seemed *so great* in motion, and under the flash of the lights](https://instagram.com/p/82B2pLrJT4/?taken-by=micaelaerlanger&ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). It's possible that a still photo was never going to live up to what I *imagined* it was going to be, as I watched this flicker past on my iPhone while I sat on the sofa watching *Survivor* and eating Cheez-Its for dinner. But! I still think it's pretty great:

Never will I get on board with the matching shoes that she seems to love so much -- which is saying something, because I am pretty sure Lupita could sell me basically anything else, up to and including a case of space heaters in the middle of this Los Angeles heatwave. But other than that, as is almost always the case: Basically pretty great.
