I was reading YM in high school, but I can't remember if the target audience actually WAS high school -- like Seventeen -- or if it was trying to be slightly older. I assume a big SEX SECRETS spread suggests college age at least? Anyway, this angle on Jessica Biel's face makes her look more like Evangeline Lilly, to me.

And HE looks like Jason Priestley. "He's the bomb -- so what makes him tick?" feels like the punch line to a Worst Pick-Up Lines Ever story.

I honestly had to check that this is really him, but... it says it is. Also, am I the only one who doesn't think guys of this magazine's target age would have much insight to offer about how women can turn a first date into a real relationship with them?

I wish this wasn't blurry. Also, they clearly could not get Leo, and had to use a stock photo of him and then cobble together a cover story from quotes in OTHER cover stories.

Well, I am so curious where the proven HUNK HIDEOUTS were in 1996. There is also something very unhealthy about asking guys why they dump girls, because it implies that girls will read that and take notes about how to behave, or something. I never noticed that stuff when I was that age, but yikes.

She looks about the age she was when she started on 90210, so I'm guessing the date is about 1995.

Do not ask me why this turned up in a search of June covers, but once I found it, I couldn't resist dropping it in. I wonder what random event this was from; he looks very self-conscious, and as if he's walking somewhere? I feel like so many women of our ages remember this era of William. It is a very specific mood from a very specific time. (I have to assume Harry got one, too, at some point, but it didn't turn up this time.)

I wish he'd been carrying Ethan Hawke on his back. I also love the simplicity of GUY SEARCH, which surely had an explainer that's blocked by the address label.

And THEN this randomly showed up. WHAT a throwback. Much of this would resonate today. I WOULD like Britney to share her diaries. I DO want to know what games would make everyone want to hang out at my place, virtually speaking. I NEED hot summer music. And we all obviously are lining up for Blink-182 stickers. (I have a very weird blind spot with that band where I cannot for the LIFE of me remember whether it's Blink-182 or Blink-183.) And all of your crushes should worship you.
