Because it was chilly and wet in LA on this night. ## Keke Palmer in Natalia Fedner ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/FFN_RIJ_AMA2016_SET1_112016_52237308-1479705930.jpg) 52237308 The 2016 American Music Awards held at The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 11/20/16\. Keke Palmer FameFlynet, Inc - Beverly Hills, CA, USA - +1 (310) 505-9876 This is a bit like the Junior Varsity version of [Rihanna's infamously starkers Adam Selman outfit](../../photos/cfda-awards-nakedly-played-rihanna-in-custom-adam-selman/the-2014-council-of-fashion-designers-of-america-awards-ny). It's not a battle anyone but Riri can win, and honestly, is it even one worth FIGHTING? Let her have it. That's low-budg chain mail, probably marked up to the heavens. ## Kat Graham in Labourjoisie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/FFN_RIJ_AMA2016_SET1_112016_52237336-1479705945.jpg) 52237336 The 2016 American Music Awards held at The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 11/20/16\. Hannah Davis FameFlynet, Inc - Beverly Hills, CA, USA - +1 (310) 505-9876 The thing is if you're going to go see-through, find a way to COMMIT that doesn't involve your black lingerie announcing itself so loudly. It looks like she's just in the changing room, working with what she was already wearing. ## Tinashe in Michael Costello ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/GettyImages-624691706-1479706013.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 20: Singer Tinashe attends the 2016 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 20, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images) If you cut off the sleeves and lined it all the way down, it'd be totally reasonable. But "reasonable" is clearly not what anyone was going for at this event. Or at least not in this slideshow. ## Teyana Taylor ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/GettyImages-624728244-1479706022.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 20: Actress Teyana Taylor attends the 2016 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 20, 2016 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images) Holy cow, well, this kind of makes me like Gigi Hadid's Swarovski coveralls. Those are... I mean, they're effecticely cellophane sweatpants. Wait, it might be a... capri jumpsuit with... a shirt? This is student work from someone who slept through all his classes. ## Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/FFN_RIJ_AMA2016_SET1_112016_52237356-1479706055.jpg) 52237356 The 2016 American Music Awards held at The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 11/20/16\. Milla Jovovich FameFlynet, Inc - Beverly Hills, CA, USA - +1 (310) 505-9876 I can't tell if I'm seeing underwear, or what, but it has a whiff of the pizza about it all and that's enough. ## Rachel Platten in Pamella Roland ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/FFN_RIJ_AMA2016_SET1_112016_52237412-1479705972.jpg) 52237412 The 2016 American Music Awards held at The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 11/20/16\. It just had some sideways surprises. Although it IS admittedly not as problematic as most. ## Rebecca Romijn in Rita Vinieris ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2016/11/GettyImages-624755110-1479706068.jpg) LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 20: Actress Rebecca Romijn poses in the press room during the 2016 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on November 20, 2016 in Los Angeles, California.
