She is everything. It pains me that her new CBS show is on the All Access channel, because I just have too many other subscriptions -- Hulu, Netflix -- and I don't think I can do one more. Maybe I'll have to reconsider once the reviews are in... I just don't want Diane Lockhart any more belittled than she was by the end of TGW, where they made Gary Cole a a cheap philanderer and undermined Diane's intelligence. DIANE FOREVER. BARANSKI FOR PRESIDENT.

Dear GOD these people are beautiful. J.Marg had gone down a really weird, frowsy path, but this is an absolute delicious and refreshing popsicle of dreams. Yes. I said it. Popsicle of dreams. It's the opposite of a basket of deplorables.

That skirt is both lovely, and evocative of the Von Trapp curtains. The top is like a corset on backward.

I can't decide if this is cool or looks like it needs to be seeded and regrown.

Y'all know I'm not a jumpsuit person, but sweet holy dreamboat, that thing looks amazing on her. The built-in cape hangs perfectly AND looks like it'd be so fun for storming out of a room in a huff. Not that I'm rooting for anyone to antagonize her into a tizzy, but what a whirl it'd be.

Someone was asking us the other day on Twitter what non-boring-beige shoes people can wear with gold dresses, and I think this is a really effective visual answer. But I'd have done a better lip with it. Her feet are stronger than her mouth.

This is like a mix of Jane Austen and Versailles. I could be convinced the Sun King wore those shoes.

Sigh. Line it all the way down and put back the hair, and this would be dreamy.

Such a dapper gent.

The woman here is in the Hamilton company (and is great). And ladies and gentlemen, this is your current Alexander Hamilton on Broadway and he's fabulous. if you have tickets, you will not be disappointed. (Also, don't get mad; he didn't blow off work. Ham is dark on Mondays.)

I can only assume Murphy Brown went to this because she was like, "UGH, I can't watch the debate live without throwing Eldin's ladder into my TV."

I just really prefer socks. For one, they make wonderful puppets.

And then Patricia Clarkson swooped in and was like, "Oh, hi, had you forgotten How It's Done? LET ME SHOW YOU."

Keep the head; reboot the rest.

Blythe also does weddings. As in, she rents herself out to families that don't have enough aunts to sit in the pews and cry.

I really cherish this jacket. But SOCKS. But, the jacket. It's such a treat.
