## Chloe Grace Moretz

I like this outfit more than I would anticipate liking it if you had just DESCRIBED it to me, if that makes sense.

## Corinne Foxx in Gauri and Nainika

Corinne is Miss Golden Globe -- the role in which the HFPA gives a literal nod to Hollywood's nepotism and lets the child of a celeb hand out the awards! You probably recognize her because Jamie Foxx is her dad, and he often brings her as his date to events. She is VERY pretty, and although I have a bird phobia and therefore can't look this dress in the eye, I assume she looks lovely in it.

## America Ferrera

Today, the role of Zooey Deschanel will be played by America Ferrera! (America wears the twee stylings better than I'd anticipate, but I feel like this MIGHT want a belt?)

## Angela Bassett

In which Angela Bassett decides, "If I'm getting up at a quarter past dawn to do the Hollywood Foreign Press a favor, I'm going to look fierce doing it -- and very slightly as if this is what I might have chosen to wear dancing the night before. AWESOMELY."

[Mostly Well Played, The Ladies of the Golden Globe Nomination AnnouncementAll of these women nailed the "We're going to be standing behind a podium for a large portion of this event" part of the test. \[Photo: Fame/Flynet\]![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/bf/b9/bfb99790-924d-4e41-a7e6-5e3c6e04fe57/content/images/static-gofugyourself-com/uploads/2015/12/ffn_gg_announce_kmff_121015_51926345.jpg)](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/mostly-well-played-the-ladies-of-the-golden-globe-nomination-announcement-12-2015/)
