Neve, presumably, is here because Scream is doing another installment and therefore I'm guessing -- I don't get MTV in Vancouver -- that she presented the horror GOAT award to Jamie Lee Curtis. I like the idea of this, but am I crazy to be bothered by the differing golds? I want to change the color of the blouse. Even just to white.

This is the fashion equivalent of when you hand your kid the syrup bottle and they're like, "WHEE," and drizzle it with ill-balanced randomness all over the Eggo. WHY is so much of this happening?

Derek Hough continues to be The Most.

We have come to a place where David Spade provides our dose of gravitas. Also, David Spade looks like he's becoming the older, more centered version of Derek Hough, who will appear to Derek in an insurance commercial and be like, "Don't worry, I'm you 20 years in the future, and you've got this. Just don't buy that Lambo."

Oh, sweetpea. Think of dresses as masks for your body: WAY more effective when they are three-ply. Or two-ply. Or then even one-ply. They just need to be ply. (At least she added a bra. The runway did not.)

These two are on Cobra Kai. Xolo, on the left, you might recognize from Parenthood (Erika Christensen adopted him and it was a truly awful storyline for her that made me hate her character a whole lot). The guy on the right, I don't know, but his form is super. That's some sweet pivot.

This is a decent use of sheers, if sheers are required. Sofia Carson has become very reliable on this front -- she will not go quietly into the fashionless night -- and if she was not already this person, she would be the 2020/2021 starlet who shows up half an hour early to the awards shows and walks the carpet alone in a HUGE dress and gets all the early photos. It's the Sarah Hyland role (and one year, eons ago, Olivia Wilde was it). She would do it well.

This is very Selina Kyle, in a way that is making my ribs hurt.

I BELIEVE Sia performed at this, and Maddie is both her muse and the star of Sia's movie -- the one for which Kate Hudson shaved her head forever ago, which is FINALLY about to come out, which suggested to me that it was bad even before she threw some tantrums about people's reception of it on Twitter. (Specifically, it seems she is annoyed the autism community is not embracing her choices.) Having said all that: This suit is very cool.

This feels like someone was hoping for a Tiger King headline.

Vanessa hosted -- Jessica will have more details on THAT -- but I feel like she looks vaguely different. Did she change the arch of her eyebrows, or something? This whole look, from the bob to the bronzer to the boobs in a sartorial vise, is screaming Posh Spice.

And then Kellan Lutz showed up. ... Just kidding. I just miss him. This is the goat for the GOATs, and it does not need a necklace. It does NAB, but we'll let it go.
