Let's review the evidence: When this came down the runway, [Jess was intrigued by its cheerfulness](https://www.gofugyourself.com/high-fugshion-chanel-paris-fashion-week-fall-2014-03-2014/chanel-runway-paris-fashion-week-womenswear-fallwinter-2014-2015-35?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and Lupita is validating that impulse by looking better in it than the model does, I think. It takes an ENORMOUS amount of charm to wear something as frenzied as this and have people STILL notice your shining face. However, I also still feel like someone doused it in glue and shook out a craft box over it. (That someone being Karl Lagerfeld. I would have paid to see that.) I'm pretty sure she CAN'T NAB herself even if she wanted to, because there aren't enough materials left in the world to craft anything. But seriously, if ever there was an argument for naked arms, this is it. SO MUCH HAPPENING. Much of it batshit.

There is, however, an enormous wisdom to putting this on Lupita rather than, say, a peppy teen star like a Bella Thorne. Because Lupita's natural gravitas and charisma make it seem less disposably freaky.

This is a better look at her face, which remains stellar and enviable. Her makeup doesn't look as overwhelmingly shiny in this shot as it did in the first one

How are you all feeling about her shoe game? Fug Nation has not, in the past, been feeling the extremely coordinated closed-toe pumps she always wears; I personally appreciate the effort not to wear nude shoes all over town, but in these two outfits, I PREFER the shoes in the first one.
