The Hudge here looked pretty good. I don't know how she manages to find stuff that makes every event look like varying degrees of Coachella, but she's adept at it. And it's her thing. And as much as Miley's thing being nudity is making my eyes roll, Hudgens having "a thing" doesn't bother me because she doesn't fancy herself making a superior intellectual statement through her clothing. She just wears stuff she likes and that makes her feel good. Honestly, if Miley was like, "Listen, these outfits make me feel like my best self," maybe I'd have an easier time swallowing it, but it's because they come with this "GOTCHA!" kind arrogance -- a combo of "made you look" and "you don't even understand because you're not on my plane" -- they make me berserk. Vanessa just gives off a really warm, contented vibe.

Also, she continues to try and coordinate her broken hand. ALSO ALSO, there was a rumor Austin Butler broke up with her and that's why they did the red carpet completely separately. I did see they ran into each other in the puppy area and posed together, so maybe everything is fine, or maybe they just... ran into each other in the puppy area and made nice because they are professionals. We saw her outside the red carpet area between that and the show starting, and she was alone, so. I hope those kids are actually still on track and can make it work because I think they're so cute together.

No surprise that Little Kim is in Balmain. The hair, though, had me constantly thinking she was Jessie J for a second. I don't love any of this on her, but mostly because -- as usual -- everything looks like it was thrust upon her instead of chosen by her. Even if the latter is the case, it just doesn't read that way to me.

Whatever. It's fine. It IS more stately than I would usually expect from her, I'll give her that.

She probably looked the best of her brood. If I had to pick a winner.

We forgot to put him in the men's slideshow, possibly because I think of him as a Kardashian now, even though he's dating a Jenner and not a Kard (they're all of a piece, though). Anyway: I can't. You're not hiking, dude.

The big patches of dishwater netting don't work for me -- just put some more mosaic on there! That part is cool! -- and clearly the putty shoes aren't happening either. But I'm glad to see her trying to step up her game, at least...

... until we get to the HORRIBLE zipper in the back that looks like it is actually made of masking tape.

That dress is great, but the thigh-high boot makes her look like a pirate.

Cute fabric, but did she shrink the dress, or is it just a tunic that she misunderstood?

She is on the nearly departed Awkward, and we saw her walking around in front of us quite a bit because they all did interviews on our nearest dais, and it looked GREAT in person. Well, the hair didn't work in either context, and the shoes are still see-through, but I liked the dress on her a lot.

Greer popped by for what had to have been three seconds, given that later in the night she was performing the one-night-only O.C. musical as Summer Roberts. This is a great color, predictably slit, and I might've saved it for a movie premiere.

This is sort of interesting, but I'm not sure why her ponytail was dipped in ketchup.

When we featured her before, I couldn't see her rainbow ponytail. So in the interests of full disclosure: the top still doesn't fit, and the hair is ombre. Since EVERYONE is going with neon hair colors now, does that mean I'm the subversive rebel, because mine is still regular? WOOHOO. TAKE THAT, THE MAN, TO WHOM I AM APPARENTLY NOW STICKING IT!
