# Naomi Osaka's Australian Open Look Is: Jellyfish

Naomi Osaka has been upping the ante on herself every tournament, with new dramatic ensembles for walking onto the court -- for example, [the parade of custom Labubus for the US Open](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/naomi-osakas-sparkles-dominated-the-us-open-kits-of-2025-09-2025/), cute [flower buns at the French](https://www.gofugyourself.com/photos/french-open-2025/2025-french-open-day-two-4?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), a sunflower theme [at last year's Aussie Open](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/australian-open-2025-naomi-is-a-sunflower-01-2025/), and [hella frills at the US Open before that](https://go-fug-yourself.ghost.io/naomi-osakas-frills-and-furbelows-were-the-most-fun-u-s-open-fashion-09-2024/). She and Nike worked with Robert Wun this year on an outfit inspired by jellyfish -- her 2-year old daughter thought it was cool -- and with butterflies on it as an homage to the year a butterfly stalked her during one of her matches. Naomi is someone who struggled a lot with her mental health, and the comeback from that and childbirth was hard for her; the outfits and the sense of fun they offer seem to relax her tremendously, and I think everyone else gets a huge kick out of them, so: play on, Naomi! Play on.
