This is A LOT, and y'all, I love it. It's SO much more soap operatic than anything Natalie typically picks; I don't think of her as someone who dresses with personality, but this has a lot of it, even if it belongs to someone in an '80s nighttime drama. I suspect that's netting in there, though, and I don't love THAT -- boob tape was invented for a reason and I think could have sufficed here -- but it's a decent match, so I'll let it slide.

I love this shot so much. That's Natalie and Stacy Martin (also in the movie) fluffing the skirt of their young co-star, Raffey Cassidy; you don't often see an A-list Oscar winner squat down in the middle of a red carpet to help someone ELSE look their best. That's a really lovely thing to do, and suggests an admirable but never guaranteed ability to see outside one's own moment.

I wish they'd given her a wee hoik while they were there, but that's okay. Raffey looks lovely in this. Something about how her eyes seem to reflect this color makes me wish Sophie Turner went in this direction a bit more often.

I am just deeply, deeply not into that dirty cream color, nor the dress under it; she looks like she stole a shirt from a pirate who'd been at sea for three months without anyone doing the chores. But the shoes with it are cute; they seem completely age-appropriate and comfy and -- especially with the flannel-esque partion -- give this a grunge vibe that is about the only thing that can sell it. Stacy's satin pantsuit needs hemming. And Natalie...

... I mean, it's fabulous. It's super simple, and sure, she could've kicked it up with some different shoes, but this is still chic as HELL. When Dior gets its tailoring right, wow.

I want this to be my vibe FOREVER.
