Pictured: Jessica Biel BYLINE MUST READ: RULA / BACKGRID USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com \*UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication\* Jessica is there because she's in a thriller anthology for USA called *The Sinner,* with Bill Pullman. I feel like a return to TV makes sense for her. She just isn't a carry-the-movie actress to me; TV generally feels more ensemble. This all feels pretty standard: great color, decent cut, boring back-of-the-closet daytime shoe. ## Jaimie Alexander ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_020-1494896404.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. Pictured: Jamie Alexander BYLINE MUST READ: RULA / BACKGRID USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com \*UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication\* I thought *Blindspot* might get cancelled, but no. I'm sure Jaimie did not want her steady paycheck to end, but also, I'm sure the idea of another 22 episodes in the makeup chair getting those tattooes applied feels EXHAUSTING. I also want to try her shoes with Biel's outfit and give Biel's to her, so we can ball this ENTIRE thing up and hurl it into the bin and try again. ## Anne Heche ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_009-1494896289.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. And I am REALLY kinda into the snake pin slithering around on her dress. ## John Cena and Nikki Bella ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683449064-1494896583.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: John Cena (L) and Nikki Bella attend the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) I mostly only included this because they made the rounds today at Upfronts, making out on the red carpet, as you'll see in our next post of the day. I do not know WHY, but I don't hate John Cena, so I'll live with it. I DO object to her skirt. ## Jennifer Beals ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683441906-1494896496.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: Jennifer Beals attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) I have to give her points for the fact that this is REALLY trying something, and as silly as it looks -- it's as if Ann Taylor bought Talbot's or something -- she is carrying it off as well as a human could. It's a BIT like a revamped '70s prom tux, but hey, reboots are all the rage right now. ## Amy Poehler ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683453640-1494896571.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: Amy Poehler attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) Amy and Nick Offerman are exec-producing and hosting The Handmade Project, which is a crafting show that I will 100 percent watch. No question. I find her dress to be JUST SLIGHTLY hideous but I can't get TOO mad at the pattern. I want it to be a top with solid skirt, I think. ## Chrissy Metz ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_010-1494896276.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) This would be better with SLIGHTLY less of a slit, but Lindsey has been dressing much better lately. (I think. If it's my memory playing tricks on me, do not disabuse me of the notion.) The shoes are a fun attempt, but don't they look like they're trying to remove themselves? ## America Ferrera in Saloni ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_018-1494896433.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. They're not a bad neutral; I just don't think they are in fluid conversation with the rest of the outfit. ## Jenna Dewan ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_016-1494896255.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. It feels a little Princess Grace until of course she turns around. ## Mandy Moore ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851559_018-1494896347.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Guests pose at the NBC Universal 2017 Upfront Presentation held at Radio City Music Hall Pictured: Mandy Moore BYLINE MUST READ: MediaPunch / BACKGRID USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com \*UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication\* On this episode of *As The Mouse Scrolls*: tragedy. ## Edie Falco ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_011-1494896265.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. She looks a lot like Anna Gunn (*Breaking Bad*) in this photo. She also might want to consider sleeves that close and shoes that aren't those. Hey, look, a poem. ## Kim Kardashian ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_007-1494896302.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. And Kim and Edie Falco have something in common, as these sleeves don't close either. I also feel like her top has a blank Post-It on which Kanye was going to write, "NOPE," but then he got distracted by a really pretty bird on a tree and then suddenly he was writing a whole song about poultry. ## Khloe Kardashian ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851559_002-1494896335.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Guests pose at the NBC Universal 2017 Upfront Presentation held at Radio City Music Hall Pictured: Khloe Kardashian BYLINE MUST READ: MediaPunch / BACKGRID USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com \*UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication\* And Khloe is starring as Sandy from Grease in a dystopian remake shot entirely from the point of view of perky Patty Simcox. ## Vanessa Lachey ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_025-1494896358.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. Or just an aggressive tan that wishes it were more like a condiment? Also... do we think this looks sort of juvenile with the t-shirt? I honestly can't decide. I'm just going to keep asking you questions. ## Jennifer Hudson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851559_012-1494896324.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Guests pose at the NBC Universal 2017 Upfront Presentation held at Radio City Music Hall Pictured: Jennifer Hudson BYLINE MUST READ: MediaPunch / BACKGRID USA: +1 310 798 9111 / usasales@backgrid.com UK: +44 208 344 2007 / uksales@backgrid.com \*UK Clients - Pictures Containing Children Please Pixelate Face Prior To Publication\* I do not understand how this garment is constructed. Is the black part OVER the t-shirt, or part of it, or BOTH somehow... y'all. I'm befuddled today, apparently. ## Nicole Richie ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/BGUS_851496_017-1494896446.jpg) BACKGRID USA 15 MAY 2017 New York, NY - Celebrities pose for photos at the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront Red Carpet in New York City. Yes, she is now a sitcom actress, and she's not only perfectly fine on it, but looks perfectly fine here. It is a brave new world ## Susan Kelechi Watson ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683453968-1494896546.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: Susan Kelechi Watson attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) I am [Cougar Towning](../../gfy-glossary#C) *Chicago Whatever*, and now that I'm also watching ER reruns during the day, as a procedural it just does not compare. ## Justin Hartley ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683447126-1494896558.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: Justin Hartley attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City. (Photo by Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images) I don't know why he was there, but: I miss Chuck Bartowski. And I will say that at every event at which he appears, probably. ## Ben Feldman ![](https://static.gofugyourself.com/uploads/2017/05/GettyImages-683450358-1494896509.jpg) NEW YORK, NY - MAY 15: Ben Feldman attends the 2017 NBCUniversal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall on May 15, 2017 in New York City.
