Emily looked pretty cute the other day, rambling around New York City. This is a reminder why that was such a relief to see. Almost three years ago to the day, this troublesome scarf-shirt and stark white boots came into our lives... although, looking at it now, was she just being crafty? Look at her purse, and look at her shoulder strap. What if her original shirt spontaneously peeled away, and she jimmied together a support structure from her handbag strap? It reminds me of the time my husband used his belt to create a working strap for my kids' broken lederhosen ("Broken Lederhosen" is either a band, an album, or a bar). Does Emily need a leatherwork merit badge? Call the Girl Scouts immediately.
