Just think of all the secrets she can keep in there. Or the bottles of wine. An ENTIRE bottle of wine, on top of her head, somehow strapped into place. Yes.
As with all things midriff, I have to accept that it's sticking around, and learn to live with the executions thereof that are not terrible. This is one of them. I think that skirt is lovely.
This is pretty, too. Total photocell dress, or "I'm going on Jimmy Fallon," etc. Like, stick it on.. I don't know. Catherine Zeta-Jones, or Chastain.
That belt is distracting me. I am not sure about the cut of its jib.
This is a little Garanimals for me, maybe.
That's Kendall Jenner, isn't it? My thought about her was, one reason I have a hard time taking her seriously as a model is that I felt like she was mostly walking in shows that are attracted to a media circus, like Marc Jacobs, or some of the couture shows. But Donna Karan really isn't that way, and in fact there was no publicity (that I saw) about her being involved. So it suggests she isn't half bad. She certainly didn't stand out in a negative way.
This makes me want to crawl under a blanket and take a wonderful nap. It looks like... apres-ski, like you're back in your chalet and you just fall asleep on the couch, still wearing your moon boots.
I kind of want Reese Witherspoon to wear this. And just, like, sex it up a notch. Or Katie Holmes! Lord, that girl really needs to vamp just a little, for once.
This is quite cool. I like the pattern -- there is a LOT going on, but isn't loud at all.
By the way, our hotel has a floor now. Jessica and I LAUGHED AND LAUGHED when they kept insisting it would open this week, but sure enough, there's a buzzing restaurant now and everything. We ate those words on a slice of pizza.
I had my first Shake Shack burger today. It was everything people promised it would be.
However, Shake Shack has now made me sad I don't have my own artisanal meat blend. That's something I have to change about my life. I have to be strong and fight for the artisanal meat blend of my dreams.
What should I have for dinner?
I like this dress! I wish Kate Middleton would wear a lively print like this. Lizzy Caplan would rock it. Oooh, or Caitlin FitzGerald, who was at the show.
And this is for when you are fabulous enough to swan around town doing mundane things in well-sewn casual dresses.
I'm having a real Pinot Noir moment right now, but my mother is more into Shiraz.
Heidi Klum. Right?
ENTER THE HAT. Pharrell must now feel inconsequential. His hat never challenged door frames. This one makes them TREMBLE.
This makes me think of a stationery store. Or old, collected stamps.
Cute dress, and also, her part means BUSINESS
This reminds me of nothing so much as when Dark Helmet goes out to Comb the Desert and has his little safari hat with the two eye holes.
Come on, Goldie Hawn. Stop messing around with caftans and let's DO THIS THING.
"Overboard" came on the other day and it still brings me a tremendous amount of joy.
Christine Baranski, GO HAT YOURSELF.
I heard from someone today, by the way, that a) Julianna Margulies' husband is as dreamy as we want him to be, in person; and b) for as hot as he is in person, she is even more gorgeous.
I didn't watch a single frame of that "The Simpsons" marathon on FXX, which is sad considering I used to quote it on a daily basis. Particularly: "All right, Brain. You don't like me, and I don't like you. But let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer." Also I like this dress.
Thank you for enduring my ramblings. Remember "Deep Thoughts, by Jack Handey"? I wish that still existed. Maybe for the next slideshow I will just quote those on every single slide.
