This might be the first Alexander Wang show I actually kind of enjoyed. This dress -- it also came in blue and chartreuse -- is quite cute.
It's surprising that dresses inspired by shoes are so charming. This is like a tennis dress made from a tennis shoe.
Oh, lord. SOMEONE is going to wear this. Actually, Rihanna was at this show, and she is one of the few people in the world who might be able to pull this off.
Something about this dress makes it look like her waistline is devouring her outfit.
But it's really cute in this version. Let's put this on Kerry Washington and see what happens.
Wang also show some saucy bags. Who doesn't love a saucy bag? (I think sometimes that I AM a Saucy Bag.)
In case you had any wonderings if Posen was percolating something wedding-ready.
I mean, you cannot call this anything BUT a wedding dress.
Hello, Coco.
I overheard someone at the show describe this as "a surfboard dress," due to the fact that...you know, it looks like a surfboard up there at the neckline, and it stands away from her body the way a board would. He was neutral on it, but I kind of like it.
Prabal is making clothes that Diane Kruger and she alone can wear, essentially.
In fact, we literally DID just see this on Diane. I do still think the skirt is gorgeous.
My entire life right now is picking things I want to see on Kristen Stewart that ISN'T wacky Chanel. She might be able to work this.
This requires a redhead, but it won't suit Hendricks and I don't know if Chastain has the oomph to pull it off.
Shapes aside, the textiles at this show were kind of amazing. Zoe Saldana will wear this eventually.
This feels somewhat insouciant, in a good way.
But THIS is a crazy mess that is eating the model alive, and will consume every starlet in its path.
This is somewhat like the wonderous Diane Kruger from last year, except....not as good.
Over at Rodarte, they have fired up the crack pipes and taken a deep whiff.
Here's my one and only and always question about Rodarte: WHO BUYS THIS. HOW ARE YOU STILL IN BUSINESS? Sincerely. Sincerely, I want to know how they are still in business.
I mean, you see Sofia Coppola wear them, and Kiki Dunst and...that is it. Certainly not people on the street, and never anyone else on the red carpet, ever. Is Anna Wintour secretly bankrolling them?
JUST NO.
I can maybe see this on, you know, someone French.
Sometimes I think this is all just a joke.
I mean, MAYBE.
Inspired by fishing net and algae! HOT FOR SPRING!
If this came down the runway on Project Runway, it would not win. I secretly loved the Star Wars line from last season, but this is just a world of mold. WHY.
