# New York Fugshion Week, Day 2

It was Olympians day for us in New York -- first [I had a brief encounter with Ryan Lochte at Rebecca Minkoff](https://nymag.com/thecut/2012/09/fug-girls-ryan-lochte-was-at-rebecca-minkoff.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and then Jessica cozied up to this beloved creature:

Nathan Adrian up there -- just in case you would only recognize him by his abs, although his face is so darling that how could you miss it? -- was at Tommy Hilfiger Men, [and was Jess's reward for sustaining our first Fashion Week leg wound of the season](https://nymag.com/thecut/2012/09/fug-girls-nathan-adrian-charms-at-tommy-men.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Then later, we were in the audience at Nicole Miller and Charlotte Ronson, [where we saw the reincarnated forms of both Tinsley Mortimer and Paris Hilton](https://nymag.com/thecut/2012/09/fug-girls-time-warp-at-nicole-miller.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Yes, we were startled, too.

[We also took in the *Project Runway* finale](https://nymag.com/thecut/2012/09/fug-girls-on-the-project-runway-finale.html?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Other than the identity of the guest judge, which has since been released to the media and thus isn't technically a spoiler, the piece reveals nothing crucial and is safe to read right up until our very precise warning that we are about to discuss the clothes. They aren't real spoilers; just vague and occasionally snarky descriptions of the collections of all eight designers who showed, with nothing but guesswork about who the real finalists might be. But still. Considering someone once got mad at us for ruining the ending of *Four Weddings and a Funeral* lo these eighteen years hence, we decided to warn you. Nothing but love here, y'all.
