Linda Evans

I wish Linda Evans had shown up looking MORE Krystle -- like, wearing some ridiculous diamonds and maybe a vintage fur, with massive shoulder pads and those bangs that look like a theater curtain in the middle of being opened. As it is, this is such an afterthought of a dress. Like she stepped in at the last minute and had to wear someone else's outfit.

Rose McGowan

So here's the thing: When J. Alexander natters on and on about walking with "wind in the hair," I don't think he meant pubic hair.

Christie Brinkley

The gown itself is okay, but the wrap makes it kind of matronly. Also, does it seem like Christie... refreshed herself? No judgment, just commenting. It's always noteworthy when someone who's heralded for her natural aging suddenly looks like she decided nature was boring.

Christie Brinkley

And apparently it wasn't a very comfortable boring dress, either, as this is just one of a series of pictures in which she mugs for the camera while yanking that sucker up.

Debbie Phelps

I love that they clearly wanted to rope in Michael Phelps so as to piggyback on pre-Olympics hysteria, yet couldn't apparently convince him to put on a red suit and do some hip-wiggling. Enter mama.

Debbie Phelps and Michael Phelps

However, I AM sucker for a proud mama and her son.

Rebecca Romijn

This is, weirdly, one of the most interesting dresses that walked this year. And it's still pretty much everything we've seen before -- in fact, I thought to myself, "Didn't Marchesa already make this dress several years ago?" And then I looked it up, and apparently, Marchesa ALSO made this dress. So I guess Georgina is copying herself already. I really do think she's bugged by all her bad press lately, or else this would've had at least one patch of glitter and netting.

Aisha Tyler

Having seen this woman in person many times at various fashion shows, I can say with certainty that HOLY HELL THIS IS UNFLATTERING WHAT IS HAPPENING WHY.

Elisabeth Rohm

This isn't great, either. It feels clunky. Like many of her scenes on Law & Order. OH YES. I WENT THERE.

Minka Kelly

DVF put Minka in a very mumsy wrap dress, if "mumsy" realistically can describe something made of sequins. But seriously, if you had the chance to dress that body, is this what you'd do? Did DVF fall asleep and wake up yesterday and go, "Oh, damn it to Hades, I forgot to make a heart dress"? Did she, gasp, switch to Diet Pepsi?!?!?!

Minka Kelly

Minka wore this before (or after?) the show, and it's dead simple verging on a nap, but it's also kind of cuter and better and more flattering, considering she is not Linda Evans. Who probably SHOULD have worn the glittering wrap robe.

La La Anthony

Is this even red? And why does her eyeliner look like she put it on two days ago?

Jenna Elfman

Again, terribly basic. But at least it fits.

Gloria Estefan

I have to say, though, I think Gloria looks kind of great. She's 54! And her beehive is mighty. Honestly, the mighty beehive might be what's pushing this into Yes territory for me.

Jennifer Nettles

I keep forgetting Jennifer Nettles is a real person. Is that terrible? It's not personal. However, big props to her for looking fantastic in this gown, because only about 1 percent of the 1 percent could probably do it.

Chaka Khan

I feel like Chaka's face is saying, "Listen, I'm NOT every woman. I WAS LYING. Put me in something better than a trenchcoat and a madam's housedress." Chaka, I feel for you. And I think I love you.

The ladies

Well, at least everyone had a good time? Are we sure this wasn't sponsored by Diet Coke with Lemon Gin?

New York Fugshion Week: Heart Truth Red Dress Show
Well, we love hearts, and we love Diet Coke, but the Heart Truth Red Dress show -- which traditionally opens the February Fashion Week -- is always a mixed bag in terms of both the quality of clothes and the fame level of the celebrity models. One year we saw Liza freaking Minnelli break into "New York, New York," and then another, weather delayed us from arriving in time to see GFY's imaginary mentor and beloved camp deity Joan Collins, at which point we shook our fists at the heavens and wailed and wondered how Diet Coke could be associated with something so painful. Since then, the show got moved to the day we travel, so we can never go -- and that's how we came to miss KRYSTLE CARRINGTON. Does the universe just think Dynasty is unimportant? Not true, universe. NOT TRUE. BITE YOUR GALACTIC TONGUE. [Photos: Getty]
