The sleek skirt and blouson top scream Kate to me, especially because this one leaves room for a jewel if the Queen is feeling generous. She also likes dark colors, so there you go.
I could see this with an added detail at the waist cinching it just a bit -- not to make it super tight, but just to make it sleeker against her.
Girlfriend needs some cocktail-length dresses, and that one seems like the amount of knee it's showing is not ENTIRELY objectionable to HRH QE2. Sigh. I really think that hemline nonsense is just that. Kate Middleton isn't exactly prancing around town in microminis. She's doing just FINE. DON'T MESS HER UP, LIZ. SHE'S DOING THE MONARCHY A LOT OF GOOD.
It's basically a wrap dress, and that seems very Duchess Kate. AND it's dark.
This is a more daring prediction -- Kate isn't normally so bold with color -- but the cut, perhaps with less embellished sleeves, feels like a play on shapes she likes but in a way that would still feel new. I can't believe I'm thinking about this so much.
This is boring, but let's be real: No one ever accused Kate Middleton of having daring tastes, and in fact, she's probably under orders NOT to at this point.
Likewise, I would enjoy her wearing this blood-red gown. Blood... like TOWER BEHEADINGS.
The skirt on this was SO GORGEOUS in person. Tailor the top and it's a dream.
She'd need it to be lined. But it's just modest enough.
Again, line it and I could see her giving it a whirl, because she DOES love a fuller skirt at times, and the top would be prim yet still pretty.
That would be cool on her, right? If I remember correctly, you can see bits of skin in among those details, but it's hardly racy and you can barely tell and she could have netting put in, anyway.
I'd love to see her wear gold; I bet she'd want this without the white bits, so that it was solid gold. SOLID GOLD.
Orange would be AMAZING on her. KATE. LISTEN TO NOBODY BUT US.
I could definitely see her taking a chance on pink. And then everyone will be like, "SHE'S TRYING TO TELL US SHE WANTS TO HAVE A GIRL BABY SOON." Sigh. Let the woman enjoy her six-month old. That shit is hard.
I am not sure she'd go this bare up top, but the overlay might sell it?
The theme of the day is, "Line, it, and..."
Or in this case, "Lengthen it, and..." I'd LOVE to see hr in something with texture.
That is so cute. Bring that down to the knee, and for the right event, she would rule this.
I do not think the Duchess will wear something that looks like she has static cling.
She wouldn't really wear this, but she'd be more LIKELY to than many other things.
I'd actually LOVE to see her wear what amounts to a long skirt and a super expensive sweatshirt. It looks so comfortable.
Too slouchy.
I would actually love to see this on her, too. Feathered skirt! Sparkly sweater! But I'd be SHOCKED if it happened.
The double slit? HELL no.
This is a short orange version of the long blue dress I liked for her; this would be nice too but in the electric orange it'll be too showy. For her position, I mean.
This is too yellow for my personal taste, and also, I think, for La Middleton's.
Yeah, I still think that particular gold is too urine-colored for her, even though this concept is not out of the question.
Same problem. Beautiful dress, but do we think she'd let the color wheel land here? I think Pat Sajak would give it a kick and make sure it jumped to another spot.
That's gorgeous, and in person it didn't look very naked (it IS lined), but in photos it's too racy for the Queen to approve, I fear. And I DO think she gets a vote.
Way too bare up top. Give her a wrap and maybe? But no. It's just too much torso for the Palace, methinks.
HRH will NEVER condone her granddaughter-in-law flashing stomach on PURPOSE.
And Kate would not wear a jumpsuit. Ever. It's one reason I am fairly sure we would be great friends.
She MIGHT invest in that shirt, but she's not going to do the satin trousers.
Not a chance.
She is NEVER going to get her pants from this designer. It's just a fact. Packham is for the Pretty Princess moments, not the "I have to sit on a plane for four hours" moments.
PLEASE GOD let her get off the plane in this. IT WOULD BE A MOMENT.
"Prince George LOVES it when Mummy looks like Sweetums."
