This is a foxy gown -- I would love to see that on the red carpet. Connie Britton could pull that off, yeah? It's too delicate (versus dramatic) for the likes of Kerry Washington. Keri Russell might look cool in it, but sadly, her show got SCREWED so she might not even be there O WOE.
Come on, Jessica Pare. You're Mrs. Don Draper, at least for now. DO IT.
I wish this were all the way lined. And maybe a bit shorter. But otherwise, I am on board with the pretty.
Love the skirt. Don't love how the top sits with it too much. One reason these styles aren't my favorite is that when the woman moves, the skirt and the top both pinch the skin sometimes and things begin to bubble. Abdomens are not a fun place for bubbles.
This feels almost caftanic. Someone REALLY diva-like needs to wear this. If LiLo had been nominated for playing Elizabeth Taylor, I would've wanted her to war this with a GIANT beehive, and maybe carry an unlit cigarette in a long black holder.
This is cool, even if the front looks like static cling.
That IS the right lipstick to wear with this. But oh, imagine it in one of the colors Monique sent down the runway... like the orange. So good.
That's nice -- I could see someone wearing it as-is, or getting a cocktail-length version for, say, an Emmy pre-party. Actually, I could see Nina Dobrev in this, also.
I'm really into orange right now. Which is weird because I don't actually think orange suits me at all, but TOO BAD, FACE.
Jessica Lange could work this. It's definitely Lady of a Certain Age.
Ashley Madekwe seemed to go nuts for this -- she'd seen it backstage and when it came out she was basically like, 'THERE it is,' to somebody, and then waited to get a photo of it coming back around at her. And she would look great in it. Better grab it before Lily "Midriff" Collins does.
Then again, maybe Lily will go back to girly and take this instead. She does feel like a Lhuillier kind of girl and she's worn it before.
Kerry Washington would look GREAT in that color. Someone like Robin Wright might work it too, or Laura Dern. It has that vibe that it'd work on one of those long, lean older actresses.
Lovely, and even better if it were a full gown. One of the young 'uns should pick this up. Like Ariel Winter."
Actually this is probably more an Ariel Winter joint.
Celebrity catnip, right?
This one, too. Someone will be ALL OVER this, and probably someone who looks dead once she puts it on. It was actually sort of funny seeing Rose McGowan there because I don't associate her with these types of dresses at ALL.
