This photo cracks me up. It looks like the runway is about to devolve into a Sharks/Jets type rumble. Bring on the high-stepping and finger-snapping, good sirs.
Straitjacket chic!
Some of the silhouettes in this collection felt Downton-inspired, which I have a feeling we'll be getting intermittently the next few seasons.
Lady Mary would probably not mind wearing this. And somebody in real life probably will.
I call this Downton Jedi.
The way the lace hangs off her shoulders makes this look like a giant mustache.

This is really pretty to me. I just wish the model didn't look like she was about to punch someone in the jugular.

The blousing at the middle AND the longer, ruffly hem kind of jack with what could've been a nice line.

I really liked this, except for that pronounced hip seam, which hits right where no woman wants to look wide. It also makes the skirt look more like a lampshade.

This didn't really work for me, either. Again, beyond the actual details, it's a shape that's not going to be especially flattering. If it's not great on the MODEL...

This was the finale look. It's hilarious. I really want someone totally random to wear this, like... I don't know. Pregnant Kardashian, or Sally Field.

There's a lot of nice drama here, with the mix of red and black, but up close it did feel like one dress pasted over another.
If someone wears this, do we think she will cut the sleeves short? I feel like the wearer either needs to be REALLY sweet, like Shailene "Topknot" Woodley, or over-the-top dark, like Rooney Mara back when she had her Lisbeth Salander hair and looked angry a lot.
This is pretty. Um... Catherine Zeta-Jones?
Gold snakeskin oxford loafers. That is... a lot happening on one foot. But they're groovy. The kind of thing I would never attempt but I hope someone else does, just to see.
The black and white version look like they should be off doing the Twist somewhere.
This was one of the Daily Shoe posts (which are on Twitter, @fuggirls, and my hcocks Instagram). They also came in black with gold piping.
This dress is fine, but seriously... WHAT are the shoes on her feet? I couldn't find a close-up of them. I am so confused by what is going on there.
But this coat does not confuse me. I wish I was wearing it right now.

BCBG showed a lot of laser-cut leather, which was pretty in some executions.

But I kept thinking Max Azria was pushing dresses over pants, and I thought, "NOT AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN."
But it turns out they're just trouser-like knee-high boots. Still, tread carefully. You don't want people to make pantsy assumptions about you that different shoes could have avoided. If you ever buy these, maybe carry a sign.
