This malachite fabric was amazing, for me. I just love this and hope somebody wears it, and since Tami "Connie Britton" Taylor sat front row AND she's a redhead, I'm going with her.

How lovely is that?!?
I can't decide how I feel about this -- I THINK I like it, but I also think the ombre looked better in motion.
Very sexy. TAMI.

This is pretty too, for one of the young 'uns. None of whom were present, which seems like it has to have been a clerical error. There's a dreamy aspect to many of Lhuillier's gowns that feels like it would appeal mostly to the girls who are just coming up and hitting the bigtime.

This is super bland to me, although the color is amazing.

This is just funky. But then things took kind of a turn.

This is hideous -- yes, that is FRINGE hanging from her shoulders. Jess and I agreed that it reminded us of Kate Hudson's awful Stella McCartney Oscars dress from lo those many years ago.
This... looks like someone is planning an assassination.
This looks like old-school Marchesa to me.

And this looks like new-school Marchesa. Sigh. There were a lot of times when we'd see something and be like, "That looks like a Designer X." And it was not the first time recently we've found her show derivative, either. Maybe she needs to go on vacation and recharge.

In happier news: YES.

Coat! Love you, Coat.
That is super dramatic. I also wish I could see better what is happening on her feet.
We're seeing unusual sleeve silhouettes a lot, also. GET READY.
If I was ever going to even consider a white leather jacket...

We're seeing a lot of coats with leather sleeves or accents. SO MANY COATS. Why do I live in Los Angeles?
These are shoes and socks. I don't think I can go there.

This dress is cute though.
Oh, Tommy. You are a delight.
I think Chuck Bass owns this. But that might not be entirely bad.
This is simple but cool, especially with the lace-up shoes.
This is naked and scary, especially if the wearer had a substitute waxer who was not as thorough.

I looked at this and thought, "Did Carolina Herrera commission that?"

There are also a lot of modest, high-necked, sleek dress fronts, with either open backs or billowy ones. I don't remember what this one had. I'm sorry. I'm the worst.
See? Coats. Can you imagine throwing something like this on to go buy broccoli?
This was very pretty, though. Rachel Weisz? Michelle Dockery?
That neckpiece is intense. I don't even know if I can call it a necklace, so much as... a very harvest-themed ruff.
Please don't consider this too much of a spoiler -- there were EIGHT shows at the finale, and we don't know who was responsible for any of them. It was all shrouded in mystery. Unlike this lady's boob. WHAT.
Heidi wore this -- a jumpsuit, yeah, but it's colorful and she sells it.

Not feeling the back of that coat, though. It looks like two giant rabbit teeth, if you look at it a certain way.
This feels like Kate Spade by way of Betsey Johnson.
Right? Betsey is all about brightness and clashing and fun, and whether it's TRUE or not, I always think of Kate Spade as a more... Tory Burch sort of bright.
These shoes are totally, totally Playboy.

I kept thinking those were lip marks, too, which they're not. But that would've been Betsey in the extreme. The purse is good, though.

And it makes SENSE that her bags would be the best part, since they're her field of expertise. Purses are the best. Except for shoes. Sometimes. YAY. I am articulate.
