The dress appears to be falling off her shoulder a little, but in person when she went around that room at the Plaza, it was fairly swoony. Great fashion show fodder -- I know Alexander Wang street-style edgy blah blah blah, but sometimes you just want to watch a bunch of big ol' dresses.
She's like, "Yeah, I'm awesome. You heard right."
Crystal Renn also worked it. She reminds me of Rachel Weisz a little bit. But I could never see Rachel Weisz in this unless she were MAYBE at Cannes. SOMEBODY should wear this in Cannes. It's a total Cannes dress.

Alek Wek is the best. This is lovely, too.
This model COULD NOT WALK in this and I don't know if its her -- she is not our favorite of his regulars -- or the gown. But it was all baby steps.
Hmm. I'm shaking my head a wee.
There's been a lot of black-on-yellow and I'm not sure how well I think it actually works -- in a lot of executions it screams at me, and I think that's sometimes due to the particulars of the fabric, the shade, and the level of detail. This one, I don't think I mind.

This one I think is nice too, because of the amount of detail.

But this one isn't doing it for me.

This dress didn't photograph as well as I'd hoped -- the dress texture is grosgrain, whch is quite neat, and looked good under the lights and in motion. But it's flat here.

As soon as this model came out, I thought, "Vanessa Hudgens."

Patterns are fun.
I liked Posh's more geometric take on black and yellow.

Tell me this woman isn't working hard on her collection. She looks like she hasn't slept in two days.
It was a bit somber in parts, though...
But that blue is amazing.

This is one of those gowns that's divine on a runway, but in real life would look insane, like a zoo creature had escaped and fed on her shoulder.

Karlie Kloss is also a total boss on the runway. She opened the show in this, and totally sold it.

Let's see, who might wear a color combination this strong. Julianna Margulies?
However, this is crazy, because something about the front just does NOT flatter. Obviously J.Lo needs one in three colors.
I mean, RIGHT? Lopez for the yay.
Tommy's show was chock full of coats.

He really awakens a prepster side I didn't realize I had.

It's too bad Blair Waldorf didn't intern with him before she started either of her stupid clothing lines, but particularly the "school uniform" one.

This is TOTALLY Tommy Hilfiger Outfits An Enid Blyton Boarding School.

Like sands through the necklaceglass...
Guys, we've JUST gotten past people treating dogs as accessories. Can we leave cats alone?

I love this pattern in smaller doses -- Shay Mitchell was wearing a skirt made of it with a black shirt and leather jacket, and it was the perfect hit of color. The shoes are also totally cute.
But... how is she supposed to reach her smartphone without arm holes?
Just what I need: wearable Elmo.

Nuns are the jam.

I laughed when this came out. But not in a mean way. As I said before, fashion can take itself too seriously, and sometimes you just want to see some crazy drama walking around in front of you. A tulle cape fits the bill nicely.

The top of this reminds me of what Michelle Dockery wore to the Globes. The bottom, obviously, does not. Lady Mary hasn't taken us to Thightown yet.
Shailene Woodley seemed to love this. Presumably lined, as Shailene has not taken us to Underboob City yet.
This is insane. It made for a very dramatic finale, obviously, but HA. I mean, wherever Samantha Jones is, she's buying one of these.
Attack of the models.
That is maybe not the word I was going to use.
