So, first, we heard Darth Vader breathing. And then a moonman came out and walked around for a while, and then started stripping. Which is totally what they do at NASA.
Naturally, it was Philippe Blond. What I love about this show is that they don't hire random extras to be the spaceman stripper. They dive in themselves.
It's really unusual to see an actual DRESS at The Blonds. We thought to ourselves, "Is this going to be a... gasp... totally regular show?"
Nope.
This is sort of like Hot Alien C3PO.
The theme of the show was Tweety Bird, and if I'm not mistaken, those are all Tweety eyes. A COLLAGE of Tweety eyes. HE IS WATCHING.
Did I mention the Tweety theme? Because it might be hard to discern.
The day after the show, Britney's new album cover came out, and she's wearing this. I suspect it is heavily photoshopped, but still, it looks great, and Britney is EXACTLY the person who ought to be wearing The Blonds. And AT The Blonds. PLEASE GOD.
This could be an homage to Sylvester...
... or it could be Pepe Le Pew. Seriously. Either. Both.
And then sometimes things were just iridescent fun.
These boots were a freaking pleasure to watch come down a runway.
When Seagulls Dive.
BRITNEY. BRITNEY. BRITNEY. Katy Perry had her time. NOW IT'S YOU.
