This is the type of thing someone would wear if they wanted to be the VERY first person on the red carpet at the Emmys, because that's when the E! cameras are at their hungriest. And then Fan Bingbing will wear it to Cannes or something. She LOVES a giant skirt.
That is graceful and lovely and I would like one in green. I always want things in green.
Let's discuss: With or without the hip hankies? Does that tie it together or is it a flourish too much? Also, Dita Von Teese should wear this.
That skirt is LOVELY, and the sleeves really do chap my sweet tooth. Too much for me. A simple strapless or thin-strapped bodice, without the boob wrappings, would be my ideal.
Total palette cleanser. Wonderful deep red, and a great example of how sometimes simple IS the way to go, but this also feels like a break before more ruffles.
AND THEN. Please, Christina Hendricks, DON'T DO IT.
IT'S A BAD IDEA CHRISTINA YOU WILL LOOK LIKE A DRAPED OCCASIONAL TABLE.
Whereas this one looks like it was built for a bigger chest, and now it's just sort of off-duty, like a deflated bounce house. (Still, don't do this either, Christina. It's just too... Religious Order of Some Random Cult.)
PRAISE ZOTHRO.
I think that might be her actual hair, and not a piece. That is bold.
I love Coco but I would have given her something more advanced to wear, because... she's Coco. This dress looks as if it's recently been put in a corner by its disapproving father, but will soon be rescued and asked to dance the mambo.
Too beer-wench.
I would NOT turn my nose up at that for a wedding gown. Wow.
Love it. Truly gorgeous.
That's good too. The next five months or so ought to be pretty fruitful for him.
I just love the effect of seeing this straight-on -- you can see what crisp detailing it is.
I just got the cold fear that Hendricks will fall for this in a long version.
The bodice styling is not as effective with that neckline. It's so harness-like.
I want to wear this all the time.
The Stanford Tree Goes To The Prom.
That would be great without the sleeves, also. I have never in my life wished I were a famous person, except to know what it's like to try these things on.
