I appreciate the whimsy here. [Cherie Balch of Shrimpton Couture pointed out on Insta that this is a knock-off of a Helmut Lang, though](https://www.instagram.com/p/CalDLALAyL1/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io), and [she definitely knows her stuff](https://fymodernflapper.tumblr.com/post/179766241142/helmut-lang-cat-bustier-bodysuit-by-william?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io). Perhaps it was not possible, but how wonderful it would have been for her to wear the Lang piece instead. (Also: I love Oscar de la Renta and I am very surprised they would knock off anything.)

I did NOT expect to see something so patterned and funky on Paul Dano. I love this development; he looks very smart!

And Zoe looks fab! This has a "vintage First Lady holds a formal fondue party vibe" and I mean every word of that description in the most positive sense. (It is not vintage, it's new Miu Miu -- but the vibe is right.)

I don't love the white shoes but it took me forever to notice them and when I saw this photo originally, I said the words "VEE! NUS!!" very loudly. She looks GLAM, and unfortunately, it's another D&G. Pretty much everyone is back in with them.
