Tessa Thompson

This feels like, "you have twenty minutes to put together a red carpet look only using items found in this local Goodwill," a challenge on a Project Runway-like show for aspiring stylists, which doesn't exist but which I would LOVE. It would, in fairness, be a top look. Also, yes, those are clear PVC pockets.

Chase Infiniti

This one is like, "what if Hamilton was SEXY?"

Erin Kellyman and Scarlett Johansson

This feels a bit like, "let's be nautical!" It's been very heartwarming to see Scarlett be so seemingly supportive of all the actors in Eleanor the Great, her directorial debut.

Ella Anderson in Temperley London

Actually, I love it.

Noah Schnapp

This youth is doing SO much promo for Stranger Things on his own! I will note that he looks great in this.

Jenny Slate

This whole situation feels a little severe.

Mark Hamill, Marilou York

This whole situation, though, feels perfectly in order. They've been married nearly 50 years! (She was his dental hygienist!)

Lee Byung-hun

Snazzy and also he's never NOT been snazzy, honestly.

Kerry Condon

This is very prim in a way I enjoy.

Milly Alcock

Sure, fine! Whatever! I dig this jacket.

Miles Caton

This is VERY styled but it also works on him. (I also liked his look at the Academy Gala this past weekend.)

Mari Yamamoto

YES this dress has a pocket across her boobs. I think this is lightly crazy but at least you won't forget your phone.

Diane Lane

"I stole these glasses from the set of Feud and I'd do it again!"

I Guess The Newport Beach Film Festival Is Now Part of the Awards Season Circuit?

The campaigning has begun.
