Let's decide this choice was a nod to Barbie, which got a LOT of Golden Globe nominations -- including three musical ones, although Nicki's contribution was not eligible, I don't think? She did a cover of "Barbie Girl" with Ice Spice, so it wasn't considered original. Still, a Nicki Minaj Barbie would wear exactly this.
And then here, on her way out of The Late Show, she has not only FULLY changed but appears to have donned a wig. I wonder if either of these is something she wore ON The Late Show. I haven't seen it yet. I do applaud the boots.
Here she's mixing Schiaparelli foot shoes with a rose gold Vuitton bag and a coat that's crinkly like a Ferrero Rocher wrapper. I see a polka dot poking out from under your coat, Nicki! No idea what it connects to, but it's probably fun. Next time, flash us! To see the clothes, I mean. A TAME flash.
