# Nicky Hilton Wore This To An Actual Fashion Event

At this point in the lives of Paris and Nicky Hilton, *The Simple Life* hadn't happened -- from what I can tell, Paris's fame is the only reason people outside New York cared about Nicky? -- and Nicky was just a 17-year old socialite and hotel heiress. I have to imagine her family's stature is the only reason she would've gotten invited to this, and perhaps unsurprisingly, her image has not turn up at any of the subsequent ones I've researched (I'm up to 2005). Perhaps nobody was charmed by her arriving dressed like the manager of an imaginary Spice Girls-themed Hooters chain .
