In Marchesa
This is beautiful. I wouldn't have pegged it as Marchesa. It seems too delicate-yet-streamlined. This strikes me as a perfect dress for this event: A much smaller, less starry awards show, yet still one to which you want to devote a little glam.
Also: EARRINGS. She's radiant in this -- she's found a way not to be washed out. I'm into it, Nicole.

I am ALSO into the adorable photos of her with the little boy from Lion, who will just melt you in the film. He's SO CUTE. Also his shoes are jazzy, even if they look slightly like he borrowed them from an older brother.
In Chanel
And this is also perfection. She's at the luncheon for Oscar nominees, which is exactly the perfect time to deploy a classic Chanel suit. I can't tell if the suit is meant to cinch that way or is slightly too big, but the fact that it pleats so evenly and specifically with the belt suggests to me that it's intentional. She looks cool as a cucumber, and also as if she's PLOTTING SOMETHING. February 26, we ALL have our eye on you.
