I have seen this movie MANY times, in part because I feel like it is ALWAYS on in DryBar, a place I would occasionally go in the Before Times, if I had an event. Remember events? (I also had considerably more hair in the Before Times, because I paid someone to glue it to my head! Truly a bygone era.) The film has not held up! It is VERY confused about magazine publishing, for one thing, and its gender politics are mushy at best. Having said that: Both Matty McC and Kate Hudson *are* good in it (her, in particular), and of course we'll always remember her for looking smashing in that yellow frock! Iconic! But how were the looks at its premiere? Let us discover together....
