This is so glorious. It looks like she ground up a bunch of jewels or geodes or something and sprinkled them all over a well-cut suit. It's the kind of pattern that mish-mashes into nothing at all, but in a strangely appealing way, and it is PERFECT on her.

And then we get the pin-striping, and... look, Missoni, youre not Gucci. That's not a trademark, I don't think, so why are we doing this dance? Don't ruin a good thing.

On its own, as a garment, this is an absurd sea creature of a confection. But, as Jessica said when we both saw this, we do LIKE Rihanna looking both great and slightly crazy, and this ticks both boxes. She plays a lot with volume and texture, and I think it works best on her when she takes it in a flouncy, flippy direction, which she is here.

"Yes, that's right. I don't even NEED a neck. I'm still f'ing Rihanna."

How is it possible that this looks gloomy? And yet it does. Sandy is not bringing this to the party; it dragged her.

Sarah, this is how most people feel about YOU. (For real, Sandy did look glum in most photos, and she had Paulson glued to her side in many of them, when Sarah wasn't also alongside Helena B.C. I've decided that Sarah Paulson is an adept Emotional Support Human.) She looks totally awesome in this, and it's one of the funkiest things Prada has ever done.

Anne doesn't have the same anything-goes aura as Celine or Zendaya, so at first I worried that Law had overreached here with her. But, ahem, she hath a way with this tent of a dress (ZING). She's seriously giving it more oomph than I would have expected -- the degree of difficulty is high, what with the patterns and the billowing cut -- and so while the dress ITSELF isn't to my general liking, I still think she looks damn good, and fun, and like she is having fun. Which is really all that matters.

This is... fine? It's pretty fabric, for sure, and Mindy as a human looks stellar. I don't know quite why the neckline is off-center by only a little bit -- not enough to really make a statement, but still just enough to make you notice -- and the top looks cut too tightly for her.

This is more like what someone would wear to their outdoor third wedding.

She looks, actually, rather fantastic.

I feel like Awkwafina's inner monologue in this moment is what mine would be - namely, "HOW IN THE HELL IS THIS MY LIFE I CAN'T EVEN PROCESS THIS."
