As I think I've written before, I want a logistics piece from the people in charge of running ALL these Chanel dinners. You know they have stories! Figuring out who gets what outfit *alone*. What do you do if people get mad?! I will say, seeing folks in Chanel's less formal looks here really does sell me on the label's current iteration under Matthieu Blazy; I feel like people look, overall, markedly better -- and also more normal, in a good way; like rich people but not ones who've totally lost their minds -- than they have at this event in years past. Probably good news for Chanel's bottom line.
