Did you know Kate Hudson has an album on the way? Neither did I, until today, or rather *Today* \-- so I guess the morning show pap walk is doing its job. She opened 2024 with a melange of designers: Etro, Gucci, and Marni, whose furry coat Catherine at [Red Carpet Fashion Awards](https://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/?ref=go-fug-yourself.ghost.io) smartly noted is like an echo of her *Almost Famous* character. This whole thing actually feels like something Penny Lane might have put together if we'd gotten to see her grow up, and I like the fact that it doesn't feel heavily STYLED, so much as ASSEMBLED. There's something relaxing about that on a Friday.
